Yup, I'm utterly useless at this blogging lark! I have up to two years worth of weddings and engagements to post, and the last images I put up were in January... I think I'd rather take the photos than talk about them!
This is why I've chosen one of my favourite engagement shoots from last year to upload today. Andrea and Rich are just two London cool cats and we had a walk around Bermondsey snapping shots as we went along. There were random dogs in the park, pretending to be flamingos in the docks, and we finished with a well deserved pint at a riverside park. Great day! They both looked gorgeous, her in her minimalist black dress and leopard print shoe and bag combo and him in his multitonal blue outfit (with a peacoat I really want!).
Wearing comfortable, but cool and complimentary outfits is so important on engagement shoots. It can take the shoot from good to WOW. And for anyone not sure of having a pre-wedding shoot, I say go for it! You might feel goofy and uncomfortable to start with, but you'll get the hang of being in front of the camera in the end. This means all the worries will be lifted before your wedding day PLUS you'll have some lovely shots of you and your love at the end of it!
